The Whistleblowing Channel of NFI - Nouvelles Fermetures International is intended for the communication of all reports covered by:

(i) the scope of the General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers (RGPDI), approved by Law No. 93/2021, of December 20, which transposed into national law the Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law;
(ii) the scope of the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption (RGPC), approved by Decree-Law No. 109-E/2021, of December 9;
(iii) Discrimination and moral and/or sexual harassment.

The processing of personal data collected through this system is subject to the privacy policy of the whistleblowing channel and strictly adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as established by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, also implemented in national law by the European Parliament and Council of April 27, 2016, in Law No. 58/2019, of August 8, which ensures the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 in national law, and in Law No. 59/2019, of August 8, which approves the rules on the processing of personal data for the purposes of prevention, detection, investigation or prosecution of criminal offenses or enforcement of criminal penalties.

All users of the Whistleblowing Channel are protected by law, prohibiting any type of retaliation, ensuring anonymity (when desired by the whistleblower) and/or confidentiality. The security of the information shared is guaranteed and only persons exclusively designated by NFI will have access to it.
